This book was sad, especially at the end. I can't believe that her best friend died. I wouldn't know what to do if that happened to me. I never thought that the ending would turn out like that. It is very depressing that a main character dies. I was very surprised especially when she decided not to have chemo anymore. Julie would put her life at risk and it wasn't a very good decision.
I think that it was good that Jack finally talked to Sam about Julie. It was sad to see him cry , but it was good that he finally faced the facts about Julie, how she helped him get through his father's death. I think that Sam should've listened to him more but she just ran off. Jack was talking heart to heart to her and Sam just ran away.
If you were Jack, how would you feel about dumping a girl he cheated on and then died? |

3. I'd feel terrible! I would feel bad that i gave someone that was about to die a bad experience. I mean, i wouldn't want anyone to give me a bad thought when i die!

3. I would feel like the worst person in the world. First of all you cheated on her, then you broke her heart, then you were still a jerk even when she got cancer. You didn't even call or stop by to see her!! And for the cherry on top, she dies. I don't know how I would be able to live with myself!

2) I would feel so bad! I agree with Rachel, first you cheat on her and break her heart, and you don't even seem to care that she has cancer, then she dies, and you take your new girlfriend to her funeraul! I wonder if Julie was still in love with Jack when she died...
