1. What do you think it means to 'meow'?
I think that it probably means to scream or something, because when you're scared they would call you a scaredy cat or something, and a cat meows, so they call it 'meow'.
2. What were you thinking when you read about Tom and Becky?
I was kind of surprised, how Tom 'loved' Becky, and I just thought that they were two kids that didn't really know anything, like being engaged. I thought it was kind of funny how they were 'engaged', but then sad how Tom brings up Amy Laurence.
3. I don't really get what happened in the chapter, "Tragedy in the Graveyard." What did the boys see? |
