I found some interesting words as I was reading Stargirl.
absurdity - something that is absurd, unreasonable;
balking - to stop short and refuse to proceed
hoisting - to raise into position by or as if by means of tackle
elated - marked by high spirits
apprenticeship- an inexperienced person |
