A Time For Dancing by Davida Wills Hurwin
Pages Read: 1 to 74 (Part 1)

1. Sometimes in this book I get confused if whether I'm reading Jules or Sam. Though you can carefully tell if by how they each talk, and the characters and setting that take place. I don't really read the beginning of the chapter to see who the narrarator is (Julie or Sam), or I would forget after a page or two. I keep getting confused on which characters family is who. At first I thought Rosie was Sam's sister but it was actually Jule's.

2. This is a pretty good book so far. I though felt that the book was pretty spoiled for me since in the back it says that Julie gets cancer. The beginning gets a little boring because you know that Julie gets cancer, and I really just want to get to the part where Julie finds out she gets cancer. It is sad that she has cancer since she is only 17.

3. If you were in Sam's position, what would you do to help Jules?

    3. I think that the only thing that you really could do is just to be there when she needs to talk. You should call her all the time just so that she knows your always there for whenever she needs anything. And most of all listen to her and let her go through everything that she needs to.

    1. Me too, sometimes I forget wether I'm reading for Jules or Sam. Then I get really comfused when it says something that would only apply to Jules and I think I'm reading for Sam.

    3. I really don't know what I would do. I think I would jsut comfort her. I would be totally freaking out if I were Sam, well, I would be even more freaking out if I were Jules, but, yah.

2.I agree with you when you said that you just wanted to get to the part when they tell her she has cancer, because they already tell you in the back of the book.
    3. I agree with Rachel, I think that Sam just needs to be there for Jules as much as possible, just talk to her and listen to her a much as possible.
