The Wave by Todd Strasser #3
1) Mr. Ross is starting to lose control of the experiment because students are kinda obsessing about it The Wave. Students were skipping class and from their free periods they would go to Mr. Ross' history class. Other students were starting to rely on the Wave for their life. When the experiment would be over, things could probably go wrong.

2) One sentence that stood out to me was on page 65, in chapter 9. "For one, the size of his daily history class was beginning to expand as students from free periods, study halls and lunch came to be part of The Wave." This sentence stood out to me because it showed how The Wave was really popular and how Mr. Ross' experiment was becoming successful. I was surprised of how big The Wave has become.

3) What do you think will happen to The Grapevine?

1: I totally agree with this one because everybody really is obseessing about it. And they really are relying on it.

2:I lov the sentance you chose because it says a lot to it. I like how you made the senance a little easier to understand.

    2. I like the sentence that you chose becuase it shows that the wave is losing controll.

    3. I think that The Grapevine is going to become more popluar because they are writing something about the wave and people will want to learn about it.

    2. I was also really surprised about how much the wave spread throughout the school and I like that you pointed it out.
    3. I think it is practically a commercial for the wave so it's practically like a recruiting add if they write the article about The
Wave and a lot of people in the school read it I think so I think it will spread even more that way, which I htink that's what Laurie is trying to prevent.

#1 Its not right for kids to ditch other classes to be in one class. Your suppose to learn everything equally.

#3 I think the grapevine will join the wave.
