The Wave by Todd Strasser #2
1) The motto "Strength through discipline" goes throughout the school because it's something different that the students have been doing. There's a different feeling and energy that the students created which is new and amazing to them. David tries to get the football team together and tells them about The Wave, and convinces them that they can even win a few games in the year when they apply the motto, "Strength through discipline"

2) "It's the feeling that you're part of something that's more important than yourself" This sentence, that was in chapter 6 on page 42, really stood out to me. I can imagine what the author was describing because I know how it feels and it's a really cool, but strange feeling.

3) What do you think will happen with the football team? Do you think that they will win a game?

    1. I do think that the motto is a part of what got The Wave is popular. And also how people have been getting together and showing respect.

3.I think that the football team will finally win a game because of the teams motto. I think that the football players will start acting like a team.

#2 To me the sentence kind of means teamwork. Because you need to work as a team to be succesful not just doing everything by yourself.

#3 The football team might win if they follow the wave. If they lose then i think they'll learn from their mistakes and might win the next game.

#2 I really like this scentence too because it mean that when you put yourself away for a moment and do something else you will benefit from it.
#3 I do think they will win but their first few games they're going to loose as they doubt that the wave is going to work but then I think they will convince everyone to participate and they will start winning more and more.

1: I totally agree I think that's what made it stand out because it was different. Plus i agree with rachel it did get the Wave popular.

3: I think that the motto will sort of help the team acheive to win. And will also act like a team
